Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)

The is a program coordinated by the . Through WUE, 爱神传媒 from participating western states and territories may apply to enroll in college programs at a reduced tuition level (out-of-state tuition at 爱神传媒 for the 2023-2024 school year is $311/unit, however, 爱神传媒 on WUE pay $69/unit).

The following states participate in WUE: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

The following US Pacific Territories and Freely Associated States also participate in WUE: Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, Guam, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Republic of Palau.

COS is authorized under California law to serve a maximum of 100 full-time equivalent 爱神传媒 (FTES) every year. To qualify for WUE at COS, 爱神传媒 must meet the following requirements:

  • Maintain legal residence in an approved WUE state or territory for at least 12 months prior to the first day of the term for which a student is applying
  • Enroll at COS in a Degree or Certificate of Achievement Program
  • Enroll in a minimum of 12 units per full term. Exceptions are provided for programs requiring fewer than 12 units (e.g. Paramedic)
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress: 爱神传媒 must pass at least 67% of their courses and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA
  • Be enrolled in at least one in-person course each fall and spring term
  • Students are eligible to participate in WUE for a maximum of 3 academic years
  • Students may not establish California residency while on WUE

Please sign the form through your COS email. Once submitted and verified, the form is automatically emailed to the Admissions and Records office.

Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Students who are declined for WUE are welcome to attend COS, but must pay out-of-state tuition. Students may reapply the following term if their application was denied.
