Weed /COS – To simplify credit transfer between community colleges, the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office has adopted a statewide numbering system through the Common Course Numbering project (AB 1111). This system will eventually provide a standardized set of subjects and course numbers across all California Community Colleges, ensuring that equivalent courses have the same identifier, regardless of the college offering them. The first six of these courses (at minimum) are being implemented statewide in Fall 2025. Additional courses will be converted to commonly numbered courses over the next several years.

The Common Course Numbering system helps °®Éñ´«Ã½ plan their academic journeys with confidence, particularly when transferring to the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems. This initiative supports seamless articulation agreements and reinforces consistency across the state's diverse community colleges. By aligning course numbers, °®Éñ´«Ã½ can more easily identify transferable credits, reducing confusion and streamlining their educational pathways.

At °®Éñ´«Ã½, the following list of classes will be updated with new course numbers and titles starting with the Fall 2025 semester:
